Sacred Medicine Wheel
The Medicine Wheel is a sacred way that is practiced all over Mother Earth centering around prayer, healing and rites of passage. The Medicine Wheel is also known as the Sacred Hoop. It can serve as a guide to achieve balance and harmony with oneself and the natural world through its representation of the four directions, East, South, West and North. Each of the directions have associated elements, seasons, colors, and life stages. The wheel’s circular nature signifies the cyclical nature of life and the interconnectedness of all things.
Steve was taught the ways of the Medicine Wheel, Sweat Lodge, Vision Quest and Shield making by a Navajo Medicine Man.
